I’ve gravitated towards creating for as long as I can remember. After earning my B.S. in Industrial Design at Georgia Tech, I spent nearly a decade doing marketing & design work at Georgia-Pacific, all while painting on the side. I then went on to lead marketing for several small businesses over the course of four years, and continued to paint in my free time. When our first baby was born, I made the decision to finally pursue my passion fully and dive into my art career full-time!
I’m most known for my abstract paintings on raw linen. Constantly inspired by my surroundings, I’m influenced by seasons and their mood; from the composition in a catalog spread, to the hues in a row of houses that unexpectedly work in harmony. Art does different things for different people – I paint to lift spirits.
I live in a 100-year-old bungalow with my husband, two little boys, and our chocolate Aussiedoodle in Atlanta’s charming Candler Park neighborhood. When the pandemic hit, I started documenting little things that bring me joy over on my blog, so check it out if you are looking to get inspired. A year later, I opened The Studio at Candler Park right around the corner from our house, which feels like a lifetime of creative ideas all coming to life in one little space. In addition to being my creative haven, the light-filled space also serves as a gathering place for our neighborhood, including an option to rent it out for photoshoots or private events.
So happy you are here!
