A Midtown Atlanta Condo Accented with Local Art

Working alongside Fogarty Finger Architecture to bring this midtown Atlanta condo to life was such a privilege. They were really intentional about incorporating local artisans’ work throughout the entire space, from the furniture to the artwork. The overall design aesthetic was largely influenced by the natural wonders of Atlanta and the surrounding areas — you can read all about the project in Modern Luxury Interiors. Below are photos of my artwork in the very cool space!

The abstract artwork throughout the secondary suite of the model home features a collection that takes a clean, yet classic approach to art with natural linen juxtaposed against modern acrylic. My series of six paintings over the bed is meant to evoke the green hues of Georgia's Tallulah Gorge.

The moody office features a simple abstract painting I created. It’s mounted straight onto the wrought iron shelves behind it, and the black frame makes it almost appear as if it’s part of the bookcase. I’m so pleased with how this room came together!

Last but not least, this Albers-inspired painting framed in a custom walnut frame is hanging in the hallway beneath a black picture light. We decided to get a cool shot with the city view behind us…the day before my baby was born. What a thrill, considering I decided to launch my full-time art career upon the arrival of baby Ty!
