Art You Can Carry: My First Tote Bag Collection
Over the past few weeks, I’ve been experimenting with something new in the studio: hand-painted canvas tote bags!
My first thought when I saw these high-quality canvas bags was: these should be painted. Each tote begins as a blank canvas bag and is painted by hand using the same materials and techniques I use in my original paintings. The designs are inspired by pieces I created over the past year, reimagined as something you can carry and wear every day!
These totes are meant to be used and enjoyed — whether you’re wearing them to the farmers market, work, the beach, or around town on errands. They feature interior pockets, solid brass hardware, and a leather strap, making them as functional as they are beautiful. Each one is also signed by me.
Because every tote is hand-painted, they’re released in small batches, and once a design is gone it won’t be replicated in exactly the same way again!
My first collection of totes will be available Friday, March 13 at 10am EST. Only four are available in this first release, and each one is entirely one-of-a-kind.
