Mix No. 5: The French Paloma

Calling all Francophiles! If you enjoyed the Italian Paloma, here is another European riff of the classic Paloma cocktail — the French version features Lillet Rosé, a fruit-forward apéritif.

As always, these are rough measurements, so feel free to adapt the ratios to your tastebuds…

STEP 1: GATHER INGREDIENTS

2 oz. Lillet Rosé

1 oz. tequila blanco (reposado would be delish as well)

1 oz. pink grapefruit soda

1 oz. lime juice

.25 oz. agave syrup

Ice

STEP 2: POUR & SHAKE

Shake Lillet Rosé, tequila, lime juice, & agave nectar with lots of ice for longer than you want to.

STEP 3: ENJOY

Slowly pour your cocktail into a tall glass over crushed ice, top off with grapefruit soda, pop in a metal straw (don’t skip this step), top with a slice of lime, and imagine you are sitting at a bistro table in the verdant courtyard at La Maison Lillet. Santé!

How charming is La Maison Lillet?! J’adore!
